Next event scheduled for tomorrow: "Pneumonia Risk Factors & Emotional Well-Being"
Posted almost 4 years ago by Erin Checketts in Event
Join us for two lectures regarding (1)the reduction of pneumonia risk factors presented by Kathleen Vollman and (2) Emotional Well-Being for trauma by Luis Bravo.
Ms. Vollman has published and lectured both nationally and internationally on critical care nursing topics. She has served as Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Medical ICUs at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. And has founded her own company, which focuses on creating empowered work environments for nurses. She is adjunct faculty at Michigan State University and has been inducted in both the College of Critical Care Medicine and the American Academy of Nurses.
Luis Bravo is a clinical therapist and is excited about joining us regularly to help us learn how to deal with all the emotional stress we’re experiencing because of the pandemic. We must not wait until we’re feeling depressed, anxious, or start having more severe mental health symptoms. We must be proactive in caring for our minds. Most of us try to workout and eat healthy to keep our bodies strong. We must do the same with our minds. It is important we look for ways to destress regularly to avoid developing long-term mental health problems.
We look forward to having you join us for this special event!
