Lecture 1: An Infectious Disease Overview of COVID-19 

by Dr. Bruce Weng, DO

Dr. Weng is an Infectious Disease Specialist at the Riverside University Health Systems (RUHS) Medical Center and an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University, School of Medicine. He is a member of the Infectious Disease Division at Loma Linda University Medical Center, RUHS, and the VA. He is a published researcher and an Antimicrobial Stewardship Co-chair at RUHS. He has been the recipient of the Bertram H. Eckmann MD Emerging Leadership Award and the Pharmacy Residency Service Excellence Award. Dr. Weng has presented at the Inland Empire Infectious Disease Intercity Rounds and the Hospital Partners COVID-19: Innovation Webinar Series.

Lecture 2: COVID-19: What Have We Learned?

Barbara McLean has been in critical care practice for 40 years. She has been awarded the Excellence in Education award by the AACN as well as the Circle of Excellence for clinical practice in 2014. She's the recipient of the prestigious Norma J. Shoemaker Award for Critical Care Nursing Excellence in 2013. Barbara was the first nurse to receive the Joseph and Rae Brown award for contributions to critical care in 2016. She is a regular reviewer for Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, and the New England Journal of Medicine. She has made more than 3000 presentations nationally and internationally based on her hemodynamic, sepsis, and disaster expertise.
