Ok... so here's the deal. You've been coming to these monthly meetings for some time now. You enjoy the food, the company, and the knowledge. You see big potential for this chapter, you have some ideas to share, and you want to be part of the decision making process. Guess what? NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! We are currently recruiting for Board positions for the 2017-2018 year (starting in July). If you are interested in volunteering just a small portion of your time in any capacity, this is a fantastic opportunity to network with other nursing leaders in the community and help build upon a growing chapter. We have positions available from President to Member-at-large. A list of the available positions and their descriptions is attached. Please review and carefully consider which role you feel can best be served. You may also nominate another member for a role should they choose to accept.
Please email me at nmcgowan80@gmail.com with your nursing experience, the role you are interested in volunteering for, and any ideas you have for contributing to the chapter. Voting will begin this week (via separate link) and end on Friday, June 30th so get your nominations in ASAP! We will also be sending out a separate survey to assess the Chapter needs moving forward. Thank you all for your continued participation in helping keep our Chapter a success!
Finally, we will be postponing our July meeting so enjoy your families, your vacations, and your 4th of July. God Bless America, and God Bless Nurses! See you in August.
