In honor of NTI's 50th Anniversary, as well as the Inland Empire Chapter of AACN second Circle of Excellence Award in two years, our chapter proudly announces an essay contest open to current members of the Inland Empire Chapter of AACN. Two scholarships to this year's NTI conference in Denver, Colorado will be awarded to the winners of the contest: First place $450 and Second place $350.

Contestants are asked to submit an essay answering one of the following questions below:

  • How do you feel attending NTI's 50th Anniversary in Denver this year will positively impact you as a nursing professional, your colleagues and the patients you serve?
  • How have you contributed this past year to the Inland Empire Chapter of AACN's mission of educating the community using your nursing skills. Further describe how you feel this service positively impacts both our community and profession.

Essays should be between 500-1000 words and emailed to the chapter at iecaacn@gmail.com between now and midgnight on April 1st. The two lucky winners will notified the week of April 8th.

Winners will be required to attend all days of NTI May 20th-23rd, including the Super Session on May 20th where our chapter will be recognized for a Circle of Excellence Award in Community Education and Public Service. Upon submitting proof of attendance, the two award winners will be sent a reimbursement check in the amount of $450 for 1st place and $350 for second place.

Best of luck to all the contestants!
