We’re here to help! Elections for the Inland Empire Chapter of AACN board are here. 

We have plenty of positions available and we can assure you we have a position for you!

Our election process fairly simple. All you have to do is:

1. Review the attached file ("IEC - Board Positions descriptions-pdf") to decide which position you’re interested in.
2. Submit a short statement describing: your background, your credentials, and why you’re the right person for the position you would like to fill (max. 150 words).
3. Email your statement to iecaacn@gmail.com.
4. If you are not elected for your preferred position but would like to volunteer to fill an open position, please indicate this in your e-mail. We will gladly consider you to fill an open position if available.

Deadline: WE ARE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL MIDNIGHT - TONIGHT!

It does NOT matter if you have no previous leadership experience or are new to nursing. We are looking for board members who are committed and dedicated to growing our chapter. The only requirements you must have in order to apply are the following:

1. Have an active RN license or be currently enrolled in a nursing program.

2. Have a current chapter membership.

3. Must be able to attend 75% of all board meetings each fiscal year. Meetings are the first Thursday of every other month. 
4. Must have no prior dismissals from the board.

Elections: will take place between June 20-30th. We will announce our new officers on the first week of July.

1. IEC - Board Positions Descriptions: Contains a detailed description of the expected responsibilities for each position.

2. Board Position Contract: As a new board member, you will be required to sign and submit this contract during your first meeting. Please do not submit contract until you have been elected.
